A Lifelong Journey of Personal Growth

Bruce's personal journey in Martial Arts began during his childhood in South Korea. As a shy and introverted child, he was introduced to Taekwondo at the age of eight. Through consistent training, he gradually developed confidence, discipline and a strong sense of self, experiences that would shape his life far beyond the training hall.

Over the years, he expanded his training into Hapkido, Jujitsu,

Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Judo, Kali and Muay Thai. Bruce achieved

7th Dan in Taekwondo and Hapkido and master levels in Tai Chi and Qi Gong and successfully competed in his youth, including winning the Korean Junior Taekwondo Championships.

For many years, Bruce taught Martial Arts in the United States and founded the Ki Hapkido Academy in Munich, Germany in 2018, where he continues to share these disciplines today.

More importantly, Martial Arts taught him lessons that extend far beyond physical training: the value of perseverance, self-awareness, resilience, respect and personal responsibility.

These principles continue to influence both his life and his holistic work with clients.

For Bruce, Martial Arts has never been about fighting others.

It is about cultivating inner strength, mastering oneself and walking one's path with integrity.
